The Draw of Living the Slow Life

It has been an upward trend in our communities to sell your home and move out to a piece of property with room and privacy. However, with the draw to move from city life to the slow life steadily increasing, the chances of finding good land to build on is decreasing.

Which is why I want to point you into the direction of GreenHead Homes. They have three more lots available in their development located in Harlem. One desirable feature, among others, is that the properties have no HOA! These lots are between 2.75 and 3.75 acres, and are located near The Pumpkin Center, just minutes from the Appling/Harlem I-20 exit.

Harlem is a growing community in Columbia County. It has recently built new schools for the residents and are improving the highway exit to prepare for future growth.

GreenHead already has county approved plans for two of the three available properties. One will be a 2,400 sq. ft. house and the other will be a 3,200 sq. ft. house. They have broken ground on both of these properties, but they are still customizable, so you can choose your own floors, counter tops, fixtures and paint colors. Anticipated completion date of these two homes will be near August 2022.

The last lot has not been planned out yet, so a house plan to your choosing can be built. GreenHead has built multiple high-quality homes out here. Any property in Columbia County that sits on multiple acres should always be increasing in value since land is getting scarce these days.

If you have any questions, or want to learn more about new construction homes/building your own custom home, check out Shawna’s articles: “New Construction” and “Custom Homes Pt. 2.”

If you have any interest at all in these properties, or similar properties, time is of the essence.

Surely by now we all know that this is a fast-paced market, and of course, having your own agent gives you a greater chance at finding a property that you will enjoy!
